This is normal! Mom deer nest their baby in a corner and go and forage for a few hours then return. Had a run in with similar baby last summer. Mom should come back tonight

oh wow, it's so lucky you got to see this! such a rare sight in real life.. so thats a juvenile flume car, and when they're outside their natural environment like this, its up to park employees to teach them. not all of them make it through this stage, sadly!!
