MORE: Trump's DOJ admitted in court filings that the damage to the Reflecting Pool was the result of a "flawed installation by the contractor” as well as "the rush to complete the project prior to events associated with the America 250 celebration."

I love how my former neighborhood is now the stock photo that pops up if you google disaster 😧 (not your fault Sean).

Climate change is an “everything” problem. Wildfires, floods and heat waves of course. But also waves of human migration and financial crises for homeowners, insurers and banks. The human pain is real, but ignoring it doesn’t make it go away. thehill.com/opinion/ener...

It's been six years, it's been researched. I think we know by now.

The goal of the battle over the origins of COVID19 is “to sow distrust in science and scientists”. This article shows why experts believe that this was a spillover event and not a lab leak. The maps showing the cluster of the first cases around the wet market are old school Epidemiology. Solid.

Three tough conversations recently with young academics looking for faculty jobs. Truth is, I don't expect there to be many jobs on the market until we get a change in administrations.

JRK Jr. wants Americans to eat more beef. Many Americans eat too much beef already and for a supposed "environmental lawyer" he should know that beef production is a major climate change contributor.

Dr. Jonathan Foley

🤯🍔 Did you know that producing *one pound* of beef releases as much greenhouse gas pollution as burning 25-50 pounds of coal? And producing grass-fed beef is even worse? We gotta rethink our high levels of beef consumption...

We have to stop these wild swings back and forth based on politics. Climate change doesn't care what political party you are from. It will burn down democrats houses (trust me on this one), flood republican houses, and a hurricane will take down independents houses. Push for cleaner energy now.

Lots of professors are scared to speak up and understandably so.
