I always expected the worst from Trump. I knew from day 1 where it would lead and how it would end. My greatest disappointment however is in the people of this country. It is truly hard to accept that in our infinite selfishness we have allowed our nation to sink to this depth of depravity.
The US government guard rails are still there. They might be invisible, but they’re there. If they weren’t, he would be going full dictator right now. Instead, he can’t even get an attorney general nominated. Trump is gonna die a death of a thousand cuts, and he deserves it.
