On a less cranky note, I'll defend your right to wear whatever you like on your face no matter what. But, yeah. I really want this trend to die so that all your lovely, interesting, full of character faces can shine without the same mask everyone wears.

The bright overblush trend looks completely ridiculous on 100% of people unless it's worn for some sort of theatrical, artsy performance.

I accept that some people like to wear blush, even though I think everybody looks better without. That's fine. But are people really not looking at themselves without those ring lights for Insta? Is nobody realizing just *how incredibly bad* faces look in the wild? Wear it judiciously!

I hate blush with the strength of nuclear forces. When is this makeup trend going to die out? Please. I promise to silently suffer awfully painted, identical eyebrows for the rest of my life if blush goes away. #UselessReflections

My kitchen was too hot to handle the patty dough 😭 I had to give up the cute chonky heart shapes and go for regular, which then all opened despite trying to chill the dough and working in batches. Oh well. They're done. #FoodSky

A day in my life.

Evan, this is a Wendy's.

I know it's just some sort of sensor malfunction, but it has happened at a time when my nerves are very strained and have slept like shit because of it.

My bedside lamp, which turns on by tapping it, has turned itself on 4 times tonight. No accidental tapping of mine while sleeping, either—the light was at its highest intensity every one of those times (requires 3 taps).

I used to simply accept forever singlehood, but it's turning into real love.

But my preference never happens because all that the people I ever get to cook for will eat and/or want is rice in paella.

So, let's see. Super basics. Pork pad gaprao, shrimp pad kee mao, chicken green gaeng, stir fried eggplant, stir fried cabbage, mango sticky rice tart 🇹🇭

If we're talking my preference, I never cook one single dish for others, it's always in 4-5s because my favorite thing to do is a Thai feast, or a Chinese feast, or an Indian feast. #FoodRamblings

I love the NHS.

I don't pray, but I "pray" that I stay healthy, uninjured, and free of accidents until my time to leave. Which isn't imminent, but will be here faster than I realize. I can't afford healthcare as an aging person and that's the long and short of why I will leave.
