I don't think they're going to trade Deuce right now. The reason is that he was not fully recovered during the playoff run and didn't really show out, so his value isn't very high right now. Leon is more likely to wait until midseason when Deuce can revitalize his rep.

The Pelicans don't seem to value smallish point guards.

Kolek is exactly the kind of guy I'd be looking for if I was the GM of a young team looking to build something. A young, cheap pass first point guard? Came up big in NBA cup? Defensive uptick last year? Understudy to one of the best? Perfect guy to take a flyer on.
