Wow. I really don't mind Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. Also my love for the Acolyte remains uncommented on. It's almost like enough time has past, so the algorithmic aggregation of shittiness has moved on, to allow us to form our own opinions, without talking head pundits and hot-takes.

I have a horrible sinking feeling, the new Dr Who production company is going to be some hedge fund owned American Production company with an American Showrunner. bleedingcool.com/tv/doctor-wh...
DnD weekend: Where the party is being crushed by a bunch of life-stealing warlocks called Dan, Beryl, Mondal and Collin. Also, a cat might save them. Rolls pending.
From Insta: Interesting. A couple is turning an empty Kenilworth Station building (in Cape Town) into coffee shop/book shop. And... It's a quite a good location. Free parking. Steady stream of foot traffic. Ambiance is next level. Interesting.
The next song is Wiggle Wiggle by The Out There Brothers. The algorithm has a sense of humor. #90's #Music

At this point I do believe everyone is watching Agent Kim Reactivated.
FloorlibrarianWinter in #CapeTown means rewatches or binge watches of series. Last year was the MCU. This year - K-Drama Surely Tomorrow. (Slow start, then a freight train to omg) And I might be late to it...Dynamite Kiss Which was suppose to be a quick 15 minute watch, to check the vibe and ended up a binge!
The green fruit creature in the sunglasses, playing a guitar, is only slightly jarring.

Orca's be like...
Killer whales: orcas blow fish to bits, study finds. US-based NGO Beneath The Waves video shows an orca holding the tail of a sunfish, while another whale charges with full force into the already dead fish, which explodes into pieces – possibly to create bite-sized chunks u.afp.com/SrPj
The easy answer is Baby Shark.... youtu.be/IATz8ZVTALo? (Apologies to Grammy Award winning and 2021 Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, Mr Dan Hill.)
What song did the Sirens sing in The Odyssey? Wrong answers only.
In other news: Anyone else missing Stephen Colbert?
I am a strange persnickety creature... I moaned about Paul Rudd's overwhelming Ruddness in Power Ballad, yet it is perfectly okay that everyone in the Odyssey has an American accent. My Gen X cognitive dissonance is strong.😂 Which I attribute to this Scottish gentleman & his Egyptian friend, Ramirez
FloorlibrarianI see now why they give Oscars for casting. And my cynical little heart suspects that the only way Carney could get the greenlight funding from the plethora of producers (as shown in the pre-credits) was to cast Rudd. Fine actor, did a good job. But for me, miscast in this John Carney film.
