I checked if there were any full moons over Perth, Scotland on the Winter Solstice in the 1990s. Turns out there was one in 1997 which was absolutely perfect.

Doing historical research for Clockwork and Chivalry probably isn't that nerdy. Going to the Quaker library for several days so I could look at primary documentation however...

I've moved from being someone who locks down the writing first to one of the heritics who designs the game in layout. It gives me better feedback while playtesting, the interface for the game gets a far better run, and I find mu writing becomes better shaped to the space it inhabits.

Reminds me of the time on the Mumsnet feminism board when regulars were advocating voting for the BNP as modern feminism had become captured and it would be better to burn it to the ground and start again even if it meant no access to abortion and men in charge of women for a time.
