I watched Stakeout (1987) and it’s far from a masterpiece but it had car chases and sex and jokes and shootouts and real stakes and it never sold out it’s reality to make you feel like you were in on the joke and you can tell they put real effort into it and like - they used to just make movies man.

Sometimes I feel like every movie that’s come out in the last 10 years has either been Lamb or Free Guy.
