I saw the new He-Man movie. It was okay. But I see why fans loved it. It just wasn't for me. I do love some other pretty crappy films myself. And that's all that matters.

Oh AT the movies. Hell no they can't look at it. At home, if it's a movie I want to share with them together, we have a rule. 5 pushups every time you pickup and look at your phone.

I've seen so many smaller and great movies at my local theater. I feel like a kid again because it's not frills. Only, you know, more artsy stuff.

Today my 7yo dog who's undergoing cancer treatment played keep away with me. He hasn't engaged with me (and vice versa) like that even before his diagnosis in a long while. I was so excited. I think I felt how he felt every time I came home from work.

But it was not worth the time. The name jokes were sort of funny, but why can't Ram-Man be called Ram-Man? Anyway, it was okay. Maybe someone else will grow up with nostalgia for this the same way unlike the terrible movie Independence Day.

I changed my mind. After watching #mastersoftheuniverse, I think the bad guy DOES need a fleshed out backstory. Saying Skeletor is bad because he's evil is not motivation. It pretty much tossed all the Keldor lore that has been built. I know it's a silly popcorn movie...
