We have changed the constitution repeatedly. But you need 2/3rds majority to do it and I doubt the Senate will vote to abolish itself. I’m down with the parliamentary idea and would support a candidate who articulates a reasonable road map. But threatening to ”abolish” the Senate is dumb.

Yes. That’s why we should fund SNAP and local food banks appropriately. We already have programs that work. We just need to fund them instead of giving billionaires more tax breaks.

Isn’t that what SNAP is supposed to accomplish? Give discounts on groceries to people in need? Food deserts are a different problem that could be addressed with policy. Popup produce markets? Co-ops? Low interest loans/tax rebates to grocers in low income areas who stock healthy food?

Or maybe just thirsty for attention. Remember that ex-congressional staffer who falsely accused Biden of sexual assault and later defected to Russia? Or the ADOS movement that is supposedly about reparations but actually funded by RW donors to sow division in the Black community?
