Cecile start off from post Endwalker and onwards. The Empire is collapsing and her home country is spiralling into civil war. She practically have nowhere to go but to follow the refugee's road. Or, thats what she claims. The real reason is... much more complicated.

You know what? FFXIV story is not that great. It suffer the same stuff like other MMO does: Its a vibe based story. There's no actual in depth exploration, minimal subtle story telling, and no deeper worldbuilding than surface level. Its mostly Aura after Aura, its just.... eh.

Its a faster paced story than i expected lol. The thing i have a problem with is just focus. Big chunk of DT stories can feels like Intermission, after lengthy patch focus on Alexandria. Its still forshadow the oncoming story well, but... i wish they put more emphasis on Tural more.

This cool and all Call me pessimistic, but lets be real here, art require audience. Getting 6 or 7 people from a room full of billions, someone aught to feel awfull. Coping with 'its 7 /real/ people!!' doesn't really help sometimes, it felt like we're lying to ourself.
