well i aint advocating for making a movie out of it am i? I also do think that abstracting things from reality makes them generally less harmful, the difference between a cartoon character and real life actors and a fantasy and real life setting is significant in my opinion

If they quit, what's to go back to? Most of them were on the brink of homelessness, no connections, no support. At least the Cruise gives you a bed, food, and healthcare. I guess, even as bad as it is, the Cruise still fills up more of the human needs triangle than being destitute.
