Last week, the Selective Service System withdrew its proposed rules for 'automatic' draft registration. This automation would force *all* young men to register for the draft. This is an unpopular and unjust policy, and they're running out of time to try to administer it. buff.ly/VZXQNCw

Foreign aid keeps us safer - from disease, from war, from atrocities. Congress needs to fund these programs so we can all flourish.

Pew Research Center

Do you know what U.S. foreign aid is used for? 🏥$11 billion was spent on health programs in fiscal 2025, making it the most funded program category of U.S. foreign aid. 👮 Peace and security spending dropped from $18.2 billion in fiscal 2024 to $7.3 billion in fiscal 2025. #USForeignAid

More war is not the answer. The human toll of this war is already devastating, with dozens of U.S. military personnel and thousands of civilians in Iran and across the region killed & injured. With so many more lives are at stake, Congress must demand and end to illegal and immoral war now.

The Intercept

A US official told The Intercept that recent attacks had wounded “far more” personnel than are reflected in the Pentagon’s current casualty count. They did not provide numbers but said “dozens” had received medical attention.
