went kayaking at bala for a couple of days from monday to thurs , the water was lovely and surprisingly warm i would definitely recommend, afterwards went in to barmouth and had an amazing meal at Saffron Indian restaurant,nearly 100 miles from home and the owner knew my exboss from decades ago!
