What did she do with the ice cubes? Yesterday and today we saddled her up for her walk as soon as the swaddle was off for injecting her fluids, and that seemed to work out well. She was certainly full of beans for her walks, dragged us all over the park.

Yeah, we have a nice park pretty much on the doorstep, and the canal, hills, a little botanical garden and so forth a pleasant bike ride away.

You need a good harness that fits snugly. There are groups on Facebook & Reddit, they have recommendations. We didn't bother with an extended training process, but they do recommend it. Day 1, we tried it on and she claimed her legs didn't work. Day 2, we took her outdoors to start enjoying herself.

@robinjohnson.bsky.social is the one who posts more about walking her, as I don't make it along as often. He also pops her in a carrier on his bike and takes her on adventures further afield! We harness trained her when she was four, and she took to it immediately.

Thanks! I'm now trying setting up an alternative account for Guava, which is also a bit puzzled by her weight as it's for humans, but will hopefully at least show patterns, and maybe correlations with meds.
