this is a method i have found a lot of success with, and i wanted to document it even if no one will see it.

the fish bag method involves joining servers/forums/etc and interacting a little on your first day, only to then quickly make yourself a regular. regulars exist because they show up and not because of some fundamental social superpower they have.
