Actually I feel like limited palettes still work better for high res bc of the contrast; there's definitely soft edges/edge control for certain styles like PMD but that's achieved with dithering Unless you mean dithering in which case fair haha

i get that people are understandably disappointed by Avatar Again and i do think the series is better off without MUs, but eshmel might be my fave conceptually if this keeps up bc bird + time travel is some of the Best Things Ever. they better not fuck this up

btw im totally fine with eshmel bird bc i feel like it's kinda clear that they're inspired by the simaenaga (long-tailed tit) and maybe a lil bit of white-faced tiels. dunno why they're called the pale raven but i assume that's a localization thing
