I forgot how they normally shut down most of our town, for a classic car show, happening today. My wife took a half-day at work, to avoid the insane traffic (and road blocks) on the way home. She might take the Gremlin down to see the cars, and if so, I might sneak a nap on the couch, lol.

Almost 60 years ago, humans sent astronauts into space, to walk on the moon. These days, a white trillionaire mass murderer just crashes his shitty rockets into it. We have gone astray.

Today feels like a good day to perhaps make a frozen pizza in the oven, and watch a cartoon movie with the Gremlin for lunch. I think my wife picked up a couple of cheap ones last week while grocery shopping. Expecting storms here later, so might as well while we still have power/internet.

Ugh early morning at the dentist, half a day hanging out with my folks, and now just finished mowing all of the backyard, I am absolutely tired, and hope the Gremlin goes to bed easy, because I am ready for bed for sure. 😴

It was weird hanging out with my folks in the AM. They had me switch the TV over to the antenna, and man they love their Let's Make a Deal and The Price is Right, lol. They were locked in on that showcase showdown (and somebody please give Drew Carey a damn hamburger, lol).

My folks came over to be here with my daughter while I went to the dentist, anyways I'm already back home and she's still sleeping, lol. Should be a surprise for her to wake up soon with Grandma and Grandpa here, lol (they usually visit around lunch time).

What the hell was I thinking, scheduling this dentist appointment for 8 am, lol.

As a history nerd, still my US presidential rankings: 1. Abraham Lincoln 2. George Washington 3. FDR 4. Teddy Roosevelt 5. Barack Obama Ulysses S. Grant could sneak in there at some point, or even Eisenhower? President's used to fear just getting punched in the face if their policies sucked.

It's only 7:30 pm here, but I'm tired, and have to go back to the dentist tomorrow in the AM for more work (my folks are gonna babysit the Gremlin). Morgan Freeman god (or Alanis Morissette) give me strength.

Watching more of The Boys (my first watch through) while the Gremlin naps, and good lord, the episode with Hughie down in Tek Knight's sex dungeon sure was something.

Martin Sheen once ate at this little Italian restaurant (that's still open) in my small town, oh 30+ years ago, and I STILL talk about it. Haven't been there in a while, but I'd always have to say to my wife while we picked up our food "ya know, Martin Sheen ate here once!", lol. HBD, legend. 🎂
