I think a lot of folks are gonna be upset when the character who’s story arc is learning to be what you want for yourself and not what others expect of you doesn’t turn to out to be what they expect of them. I’d bet it’ll be more open ended to fit anyone’s interpretation (like Jax from TADC)

You’re ignoring the “it’s not just for ai”. It’s also for streaming, games and videos. For data storage, for compute both for ai and for various other needs. I know it sucks but the problem isn’t the LLMs. It’s the lack of regulation for companies and the things they build.

I know they are speeding up development of data centers but it’s not the data centers that are the problem. The datacenters will be built eventually. The problem to care about is rushing them as cheap as possible with no restrictions allowing for bad developments in residential areas.

Data centers aren’t being built purely for AI. As much as they suck and I wish they would have stricter regulation, you’re using a data center to talk to me right now. So you just have to pick ur battles tbh.

I do dislike his wording at the end though. Coding is an artform, a creative endeavor of its own. How you implement things will differ from case to case even when pushing for the most optimal execution. It is the analogous to using the same old brush techniques to achieve new painting.
