My current pet peeve: not being able to adjust the volume of something without it playing noise. You have to unmute to lower the volume but when the volume is way too loud you don't want to unmute. Bring back physical buttons and knobs.

This hit home. I worked for local gov. for 32 years and this is exactly how it works. "You're not an approved vendor, denied". "You want to be an approved vendor, here's an application that will take a long time to complete and *maybe* you will get a tiny contract". Total lock-in for the known.
