Y’all- if the CDS drops a cat in your lap, please make sure to check local lost pet groups, and get them scanned for a chip. For every owner who just let them wander off, there’s a human desperately trying to get them home. Accidents happen. Cats get out. Collars get lost. Please double check.

Something to consider: Nutsy is cute. Cute cats that like to follow people often get mistaken for the Universe’s Cat Distribution System at work. Keep looking, making signs, posting in neighborhood chats and social media… every little bit helps and anyone who says differently is a walnut.

If you've been thinking about fostering or adopted a dog in the Austin TX area, Austin Animal Services needs you on Saturday. They're over capacity, have a fire marshal inspection on Sunday, and if they can't find homes for 40 dogs before then, may have to euthanize them.
