Sadly not a surprise

This is abhorrent. Luckily I have a pair of very effective noise cancelling headphones. Whatever happened to not upsetting your fellow passengers? This is at least as distressing as a crying baby - which is not their fault or in their control. These ppl have no excuse.

I assume we are paying for the Escalades? Cool. I feel good about that.

Oddly, I’ve bonded with doctors over what I’m reading on multiple occasions. They remember me by what I read and ask for recommendations based on genres they like.

I appreciate this. I still can’t bear to watch any more of it than I did. JFC it’s grim.

You couldn’t foresee needing to provide evidence to prove the harm you claim you suffered? Who are these lawyers?

I’m ignoring all announcements of ceasefires, winning, etc because I don’t believe any of it. I would also like to know what precisely I’m supposed to be epically furious about. I would be laughable if it’s wasn’t so deadly.

I once gave my order - and then my server was fired. I was forgotten. I still left more than 20% for the poor girl who saw me and was freaking out that I’d been sitting there so long alone. Always take a book folks and don’t blame the server for what’s behind their control.

One more time: being so damn determined to have a white man in that role screws it up again. And why are ppl always so willing to throw women under the bus? One assaulted them, one is violent towards them. Also, is “emotions got the better of him” the grown up version of “boys will be boys”?

Why is this man constantly shocked? It bothers me that apparently everything is a surprise to our top law enforcement agent.

Took me a couple reads sounding it out in my head. So effing true!

Diversity. Equity. Inclusion. How can these be bad words? How can these concepts be villainized? What more are we supposed to be afraid of?

It is physically impossible to wake up when your dog cozies up along your spine and snuggles even closer. The perfect length. The best living weighted sleep aid. And why would you fight it, except you can appreciate it more while drifting on the edge of slumber.
