US classrooms do a lot of unplugged, but I would still consider this teaching computer science (also, strongly suggest the work on semantic waves for anyone doing unplugged). I was wondering if you saw teaching computational thinking as different from teaching CS.

I'm curious how you see this playing out in the classroom. In the USA, the concept has been used as a way to get people to teach traditional computer science topics in situations in which they don't feel that they can, either b/c of no devices or b/c they don't think they are qualified, but it's CS.

Just talked to one today. It was some mailing list something blah blah blah he used "AI" in the competition of a task to support the cause. Basically, if it's being used in the service of an anti- authoritarian task. Just really narrow no-context reasoning.

Colonial mentality. They also think they have a moral imperative to direct development for everyone. Everything belongs to them, and they're the only ones worthy to control it.

I'm talking about the story you described in the comment I replied to in which you said you couldn't remember whether the child was being fostered or adopted.

Seems very unlikely they would be fostering a child from a foreign foreign country. That sounds like an adoption story. You don't have to do anything illegal to stop fostering. You just have to say you quit.

Finally! It's been such a bummer not to own my own life.

Okay, this might sound weird, but I put my pajamas in the freezer during heat waves, then pulled them out right before I went to bed (after a cold shower). And also, I put a cold pack under the pillow and flipped the pillow every few minutes before I fell asleep. Pillow got a tiny bit damp but 🤷‍♀️

The press release that they were going to develop the "AI literacy framework" just came out a couple months ago, so maybe they haven't made it yet.
