The trouble is that you’ve acknowledge the policy you support (mandatory sex at birth records for everyone as per the Sullivan Review) will have the outcome of making the segregation of trans people easier. Therefore you can’t just throw off that policy outcome

I'm not an 'activist'. I'm a trans woman who has a GRC, who has been transitioned for decades who wants my right to privacy protected. That has now been destroyed as a result of recommendations you endorsed, from a hugely transphobic colleague of yours.

You supported the Sullivan Review, this was a recommendation from that review, it's there in black and white at the beginning of this thread! 'I support the findings of this review'!

The 'whole point of the guidance' which was drafted on the recommendations of a former employee of an anti trans hate group? The balance is wrong, because the thump was pressed on the scale by bigots.

And if you don't really understand trans people's lives and experiences, then I don't see why you qualified to make this pronouncements, when you have no grasp over the actual human cost of what you're advocating.

Genuinely what do you know about being a trans person? Have you actually tried to speak to some trans people about what our lives or experiences of the NHS, or discrimination are actually like? Because everything you say here indicates a fundamental ignorance of what being trans acrually *is*

Why are saying 'when it is medically relevant'? Sex at birth is now a mandatory record in *all* circumstances relevant or not, with no input from the patient.
