Publishing horror story? I was racing to meet the pre-order deadline. And I wrote it in chunks of about 4-6 chapters on different docs. So, last day. I assemble the doc. And I upload. With chapters 23-27 in the middle of Chapter 22. ... I had messages coming in all day.

i think my favorite thing about KDP is that when a pdf fails to upload it still checks the whole thing and greys out the cancel button so you just have to sit there and wait for 5 minutes before you can try again
