Getting some assistance on bills/utilities, and it's kinda nuts how in this day and age internet/phone stuff doesn't count as a utility. I've been on the phone for over two hours today to check on food assistance, banking/401K stuff, and the aforementioned utility assistance.

I was talking about my 401K stuff earlier and someone thought I was talking Warhammer. Painting my retirement plan red so it pays out faster.

I've been making so many phone calls lately- mostly being on hold. This old pic is starting to take on a different meaning for me (original context: if Grumpo didn't sound like me he'd probably sound like Jon Benjamin/Coach McGuirk, etc.)

I am morbidly fascinated as to what society will be like when the last real generation of "you should beat your kids" dies out. There will always be instances of it, sadly, but as a cultural staple. The psychological equivalent of removing lead from gas and paint.

Do any artists have any advice for burnout, or just feeling totally shitty about your art? I can't remember the last time I felt this bad about it, regardless of external circumstances. I don't necessarily think my art is... bad, I just feel no joy surrounding it in general right now.

At the unemployment office and a kid is just taking shit off the walls like "wow free art" It's fascinating no matter how dumb I might try to make Rudy reality will introduce me to new examples
