This map includes Anglican/Catholic/Orthodox, Lutheran, Reformed, Presbyterian, mainline/historic Black Methodist, Wesleyan Methodist/holiness, Pentecostal/Charismatic, Baptist, Anabaptist, Society of Friends/Quaker, national/united churches, Disciples of Christ/Congregational/UU, and I'm sure more.

[A note: maps are inherently tender terrain, with conflicts, displacement, colonization, war, & more. Some pins reference sensitive subjects or touch on parts of history still aching with generational trauma. Some women pastors on this map having living descendents aware of their relative's legacy.]

Unfortunately the map of women pastors and preachers is only in English. However, some sources are in other languages including Japanese, French, Spanish, & more. This map is just a representative handful. So many more to add. (A small group of women is absent for now - part of another project.)

This was a pro bono, labor of love project - no grant funding from a particular entity or denomination. So, very ecumenical. Almost zero missionaries on the map. Remember, click categories on. Zoom in around cities, very easy to miss pins when they're smooshed together. Also check out NANTUCKET

Denominational categories aren't perfect, but they're workable. Light grey pins are general background women's history + women church leaders pre-1600. You can browse chronologically through a category or use the search bar to look up a keyword. Most pins fall between 1800-1960.

No, it's not a sleek, pretty project - but it's free, loads easily, & is relatively accessible to folks with limited internet. You can chart how close a historic site or cemetery is from you. You can also see clearly, "hey there used to be a Black church and now there's a...freeway."

Large class sizes would make this so especially hard. Easier to gauge in a room of 20 or 30 students where you're familiar with them.

How interesting that one of the options is AI and academic integrity and "it's okay, professors do it, too, wink."

While boots are a somewhat straightforward example, more complex goods - even a printer, or generic med formula vs namebrand, or vehicle - all have increased risk and limited or zero ability for consumer repair options. (Generic meds have significant variable % range of active ingredient required)

And if there's additional cost of repair there may be new uncertainty: pay for cheaper service now, and run higher risk of additional need for repair later, or pay for pricier service now, hoping it's a lasting fix? The more crappy items you have, the more uncertainty calculus grows in mental load.

My sense is part of the hidden cost is uncertainty: how long will this last for me or my kid? Is there higher risk of cost of repair? Will it break when I need to wear it to an interview, print a form, or drive to work? Will it cost opportunity? That's mental load/executive function spent.

They're... they're not using some of the new AI product integrations, right? Like the ones that made Ford rehire engineers, or surgical tool integrations that led to botched surgeries? No interns using Kalshi as "polling"? Look someone had to ask, I don't mind getting "well actually'd" on it.

I'm so sorry. And thank you. A loved one who'd been pig-headed ended up in ICU. Had long-term health consequences - but survived. We were so frustrated. So grateful for staff. So exasperated but relieved. But grieved for those who didn't make it. Thanks again.
