Somehow able to navigate the hellish CHAIR MAZE

Gabriel Knight is fine, but we all know how adventure game protagonists are. He is more of a Gabriel Robber.

I would like to have a super move like from fighting games. My super move would be "sitting there doing nothing for a few seconds, but burning 500+ calories anyway."

I propose, as a kind of test run, we call all demons “satans”. For example: “Look out! There’s a satan flying around!” “I was at the store to buy some pears, but a satan dropped in and pierced all of the pears with his horns.”

Adventures of Happy Face in test room continues. Look at the little guy go. So smart and gracious. Not only does he choose a path that avoids slamming into the chair, he also directs his turns so that he won't bump against the corner of the chair. What a lad. #gamedev

I’ve been playing a lot of Powermonger recently. It’s one of Bullfrog’s earlier games alongside Populous. Really such a strange little game. So much effort seemed to go into world simulation. It’s actually kind of impressive tech for the time. But as a game very little of it mattered.

Raw data from the simulation now leads to objects being placed when loading the visual room. The only objects that exist right now are chairs and tulips. That’s all anyone really needs. (“Visual” is to differentiate the room the player is viewing. All other rooms are simulated behind the scenes.)
