I have similar issues with the phrase 'Mindfulness'. True mindfulness is about being present in the hear and now and learning to live with the thoughts and feelings that are uncomfortable or even distressing. It is not about being happy all the time.

My grandad was a fan of new technology. In the 90’s he got a camcorder. We were regularly subjected to hours of footage from their various holiday. Large portions of which would be video of his feet where he had forgotten to stop recording.
