I’m trying to get the Republican messaging for the midterms straight. Is it: The economy sucks but it’s Biden’s fault and Trump’s tariffs and war has nothing to do with any of it. OR The economy is great, we’re the hottest country in the world, & Trump deserves all the credit.

If you squint real hard, you can almost read the caption at the bottom of that sign: “If you’re expecting to get somewhere from here, the joke’s on you because you’re fucked.”

They’re going to need to spend a lot more than that. OR, they could wise up to the reality that Democrats are way better for the economy, that happy people with disposable income SPEND money, and that they’ll still be billionaires. Then they’d join with the rest of us and say: FUCK TRUMP!

But if Trump and his family are able to make more money each time he says “We’re going to bomb them into oblivion!” followed shortly afterwards by “We’re really close to a deal!” - do you really think he gives a shit?
