Couldn’t be happier with (or more proud of) our 29 year old first-term city councilor who is out there putting heart and soul into making life better for Portlanders. Youngest ever city councilor and an absolute force.

I need more coffee but

Anyone wanting to make some easy money can just set up a political consulting firm to tell moderates and right wingers they don’t have to appeal to working class voters and that DSA is just a passing phenomenon. These folks are desperate. They’ll pay big money for any hope they can stop change.

I love to go visit nice places in the region but it really sucks to come home to a really great place like Portland & see a bunch of hacky business people constantly trashing on the city because no one likes their dumb ideas. Bunch of whiny losers with too much $ & wayyy too much media attention.

Climate change is very bad

Zenith Energy and I Squared Capital are so scared of facing the Portland climate movement, they are suing the city to try to prevent us from asking the city council to protect Portlanders from oil trains and increased fuel storage.

Caveat that we win big *if* we do the work and knock a gazillion doors

I legitimately think the moderates + right wing in Portland are stuck in an ideological bubble after they saw attitudes move *slightly* to the right during COVID and they genuinely have convinced themselves the leftists on city council are a fluke that is about to go away in the Fall elections.
