Distinctly remember getting the "Biden has only been in office for X weeks, you have to give him time!" where X is any amount of weeks within the first year. Then of course they pivot to the midterms excuse

The conversations that people say 'we can have after the election' never actually happen. This is why people air their concerns during campaigns. Can't be mad at people for doing so.

Status is derived from order, and these are the same types who are far more concerned with order than law, let alone justice. Some may even claim they want change, but they only want the kinds of change that do not so much as threaten their perception of order, so they watch it all decay instead.
