Hypothetically, if that's true would Sproat or Gasser been enough or do we think it was Henderson period?
I think I make the move for Sproat or Gasser, I can't for Henderson.
This is a pretty typical deadline for us.
Setting expectations by saying you're going to be aggressive pretty much sets you up for failure - at least in court of public opinion.
I still trust Arnold and we'll see what happens in the end of course, but if you go in talking about being aggressive and are AWOL when the shoes start dropping it's not a great look.
You know, there's a lot going on right now but I have to say that it's really irritating to have the best record in baseball in August and the Cubs are still only 6.5 back.
I wouldn't have thought they would if they hadn't put it out there. A lot of this stuff this time of year is gamesmanship of course but for the Brewers it would be a weird thing to lie about.
It does at least give some perspective that while I'm annoyed we didn't get Skubal, I'm not hearing fans chanting "sell the team" at any of our home games.
