My chonkiest Caterpillar is on the hunt for its pupation site. I'm not not calling it Heimlich.

Romy* the asshole caterpillar remains undefeated... I'm home today and was excited that I might get to witness the transformation to pupa. In the fifteen minutes I was out of the room making breakfast, it shed its skin and went full pupa. Fuck you too, Romy *H/t @luckymud.myatproto.social

In sad caterpillar news, the upper guy in this photo failed to pupate. I have removed the remains, and hopefully it was nothing too terribly contagious

I was contemplating naming each pupa but then I was like "no, Duck, that's crazy caterpillar lady behavior"... I really think the asshole wandering caterpillar needs a name, though

Hubs and I were discussing the Yoda "there is no try" quote yesterday. We both really feel like that's terrible advice that leads to defeatest behavior. Trying is fundamental to learning and growing. And really, trying is a form of doing, but I feel like most people hear "do" and think "succeed".
