A distinction without a difference. The AIs will have some kind of output at some point, and the more that people post their objections to AI, the more that will be reflected in the output.

Why would any individual getting themselves through the cordon into Gaza, with nowhere to live, adding an extra demand on limited food and water supplies while their own life goes to pieces, improve the situation?

Increasing the likelihood that AI will post anti-AI material.

I'm one of many "that guys" in the thread. The needless use of AI has, in this instance and others, hindered rather than helped the distribution of the original message.

No one has to post AI. Everyone's responsible for their choices, not just the parties you don't agree with.

It's not like I can stop them, nor would I. But look how much of this thread is now needlessly bogged down in commentary on the form of the post, entirely avoidable by not using AI (or any image), and with less effort.

There is no need to Photoshop Phang any more than there is to AI Phang. Just use a photo - or better yet, recognise that the story is in the words and doesn't need a picture anyway.
