i read my first forays into political theory and instantly pegged socialism as the most Christ-like, and even when religion left me i kept the ideology because it made sense

and that's how they get you, they advertise it as a fun time + Christ included absolutely indoctrination at work, and it worked, i considered myself Christian for much of my childhood and adolescence though i guess the one upside maybe of this is it's the reason i became a socialist

that was the case for me, because when i was a kid i heard a friend was going to this cool sounding summer camp and i asked my parents to send me and they did and i guess none of us realized it was a *Christian* summer camp

how common is it to grow up being the only religious person in a non religious household? like i dont know if anyone in my family identifies as atheist but none of them whatsoever are practicing in any way
