what is the TV / video ad environment like down there? has he started? i too am skeptical BUT i think it's closer than the CW. i figure he can drop a cool $20M on ads... he has a path that paxton maybe does not.

Many yrs ago I was interviewing for a TT job at a journalism school & they asked me about my partisan Tweets and if I could be “objective” in the classroom (!!). I talked about how environmental / sports / business reporters are NOT objective. What I didn’t say was that they would all go into PR.

Adding onto this, a lot of students want an example for formatting purposes so they understand what it should look like. I have started providing examples of either prior student projects (w/ consent) or my own hypothetical work.

I perceive that the strongest ~reactions~ are less jockeying and more deep-seated (existential, even) dread about how the reactors perceive themselves and their roles, esp vis-a-vis other identities, if the other side “wins.”
