Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Human Nature by the climate scientist @drkatemarvel.bsky.social is a shocking book, all the more because the passion is controlled, the tone lyrical, the rants absent, the shocks measured. I deny denial but must confess complacency. No more. Read it. Soon!

Only during vacation I take the time reading books and the first I chose to read this year was @drkatemarvel.bsky.social's Human Nature. Despite family duties took only two days, although I needed to ask my wife with vocabulary here and there 😃. I particularly enjoyed her references to history

Human Nature by @drkatemarvel.bsky.social is so incredibly good that I've updated my favorites shelf on StoryGraph! 5 out of 5 stars, highly recommend. The book is so well researched and so well written; science interwoven with storytelling. Absolutely incredible, thank you for writing it. 💜

I've been reading @drkatemarvel.bsky.social's brilliant book Human Nature. I'm now at the truly alarming chapter on fear while still feeling the anger prompted by the misinformation / refusal to acknowledge climate change described in the chapter on anger. In short, Binface's message is timely.

I'm already getting comments like "they don't believe in the rule of law" and "it's not going to matter." Sure, you can go roll yourself in a comforter like a sad-rito. But 10 years from now, 20, are you going to be pleased to say you did nothing? That you didn't type? Pick up the phone? Try?
