OH MY GOD THIS THIS IS WHAT I KEEP TRYING TO PUT INTO WORDS it’s not that absurdly bizarre stuff happens in my vicinity! it’s that i notice stuff happening that other people blank out
Neon Genesis Ewangelionii told this to my manager before we had a Meeting and he was delighted. he asked "how is your street the one where everything happens?" and i had to explain the thing about my type of ADHD is the world being like a kaleidoscope of input with no filter, therefore i notice more weird shit
but Unitarians (which include plenty of atheists AND believers), humanists, deists, people who are "spiritual but not religious", etc. are all captured together in a separate 1% "Unitarians and other liberal faiths."

I'm in! I'm currently reading (and loving) "Time Warp", book two of The Audacity series by @carmenloup.com. And I can't do a book plug without mentioning the books of @geoffjones.bsky.social and @gmnair.bsky.social. www.amazon.com/dp/B087H3N8QK www.amazon.com/dp/B0DKG8QWY8 #BeholdBooks
I'm going to do a mega-thread of my friend's books here! Check their stuff out below and feel free to use #BeholdBooks to promote your own friend's stuff too! I will try to get to everyone I can, but I have a toddler so I may be a bit slow. 😅 🧵 #BeholdBooks #WriteSky #BookSky #WritingCommunity

They call it 'skill regression', and it's very common for late-diagnosed ND adults, because basically when you stop pretending all the stuff that's breaking you is 'Fine, Actually,' and start acknowledging that you can't do it without suffering - from the outside that looks like new limitations.
Nat GuestThis thread is SO resonant to me right now. Over the past couple of years as I've explored my own neurodivergence & adjusted my approach to living & socialising, how it LOOKS from the outside is that I've made my life smaller - when I've actually just given myself permission to make it more livable.
