So, I just got finished talking with the insurance people and while mum's doc is very reasonably priced, the labs... not so much. It's gonna be around 70-90 usd, depending (pictured is not the total, but it's most of it). I'd be grateful if you could share this to send some work my way🙏

The problem with being so fond of shitty little guys is that authors often feel the (quite understandable) need to whitewash them. But no! I love them being awful! It's their main attraction! If they are just a misunderstood woobie they are still quite cute but not as interesting.

I rarely say this but Ed is so right here. I usually manage only 2 out of 3, but those days of 3 ahhh what a great day.

The way the cats become *obsessed* with me when it's cold is so adorable. It looks like affection but it's pure self-interest. They are so evil and cute😍

On the one hand, with mum doing better, I have been able to tidy more. On the other hand, I'm so distracted and I tidied so much that now I can't find my sketchbooks. Other greatest hits of my traitorous brain recently:

The Witcher. Personal opinions on the franchise: The TV show: Starts at awful quality and goes downhill from there, every subsequent season is EXPONENTIALLY worse. Only watched 2 seasons. Season 1 still has excellent music, ok costumes and decent casting, though.

List of games you can play when you're so distracted/fried you can't even manage Stardew Valley. All these require 0 brain to play infinite hours and are excellent distractions: -Any Panel de Pon/ Tetris Attack games (I'm fond of Yoshi's Puzzle for SNES and Pokémon Puzzle League for N64 myself)

Slept like 10 hours before the pain woke me, so not ideal but not bad either. Wanna know what I dreamt during that glorious rest? Throuple into BDSM who solve their arguments via competitive blowjobs. Now, my brain has AMPLE choice of characters to insert into this situation but sadly it chose...

Just did a portrait in a couple of minutes and then overlaid the reference on top. It was almost perfect!🤯 Sometimes I think I can't draw but then when I go "this is just for me, no one will see it" it's just so quick and effortless😭 In conclusion, I might be an idiot but at least I can draw

It's 25°C I'm in pajamas and covered in blankets. The only reason I haven't got my hot water bottle with me is because I can't be bothered to move. Safe to say I feel a little worse for wear so time to nap... if I can. Lousy painkillers do your work!

Back from the doc, the whole thing took 7 hours even with an appointment but mum tolerated it very well. Now we need many new tests and also a new appointment to the gastroenterologist and neurologist. Feeling hopeful. I've never seen a doctor order so many things in one single sheet of paper!
