I was a bit of a latecomer to the recent God of Wars, but before then I actually Platinum'd the original trilogy way back when, haha Normally I wasn't (and still typically am not) a fan of certain kinds of "gratuitous" action games but GoW was the weird franchise that was a big exception for me.

Now that I have proper display of the physical cards, here's sort of an example of these early iterations of deck styles, using twins Vo'Lec and Ni'Lec's differences. Vo'Lec being focused on physical/absorbing/countering dmg, while Ni'Lec on effect/outmaneuvering/frequent recovery.

God do I have some art plans brewing for the nearish future, but getting all the remainder of the base card art done takes priority, but I've been investing a lot of other time these months practicing things while I generally upscale my ambitions.

Just in case you guys are feeling starved for proper new art since I've been head down and nose to the grindstone getting card game design stuff sorted among other things, lol There's a lot of things and adjustments being figured out to start happening come next month but bear with me, haha

Resurrecting these sketches from a few years ago before I time-shifted all my Isravere focus to ~20-years prior with the War Lords story. Before (*after*) Luxa and Ichor were the resident teens-with-attitude (actually they're older whiiich reflects worse in hindsight), there was (*will be*) Flare.
