started playing the original jak and daxter last night as id missed this one as a kid. the animation is so goddamned charming and i dig the emphasis on exploring the colorful world. the humor is pretty mean for a kids game which gives it some juice. also daxter is an adorable asshole.

Played Shift at Midnight this weekend and boy it's an oddly cathartic game while still remaining deeply troubling if you think about it for longer than a second. You work at a gas station with your friends while trying to figure out which of your strange customers are actually doppelgangers.

patlabor 2 is up there for one of my favorite animated films of all time my god

at the intermission for an original musical. local theater stuff. and the show can be best described as "demonic xanadu" the seven deadly sins are squabbling. lust is a drag queen. it fucking rules.
