He as one person can’t watch her 24/7 and mind the kids and go to work. If she needs that kind of intensive care, she should not have been released. We don’t have the safety net in this country they would need to support the entire family with no one working. I absolutely agree with you that

I remember a couple of these from the early 80s when the kids name could be typewritten in. They gave me the creeps when I was a kid and they have not improved with age

Thank you! We’ve only been in this house 10 years and it’s taken us this long to get to it. We had to fix the floor in one room and decided to fix the closet floor while we were at it and then it snowballed from there

Conversely, I learned to read watching Sesame Street because my mother never read to me (she recently admitted she found it boring so thank god I picked it up on my own)

I was an a cappella nerd for a very long time and that would have driven me up the wall. No. We don’t make unnecessary noise on planes out of respect for everyone else in the little metal tube. Read a goddamn book for two hours.

Finding out that the dressers fit on the short walls in there was a game changer. There was no floor space in the bedroom otherwise

It fits both our dressers and then a clothes bar over his dresser and then two bars on one of the long walls

It’s 4’9” by 10.5 or 11 if I’m recalling the dimensions correctly. They made both bedrooms smaller to make a walk through closet accessible from both sides

I quit as a result of a post in the vein of “there’s a teenage boy sitting on the park bench scrolling on his phone! Should I call the cops?” I’ll give you three rhetorical guesses as to what the kid looked like.

It is a rare occasion that I go to the theater. It has to be both something I’m excited about and a big enough spectacle that I want to see it on the big screen. We go maybe twice a year, tops
