It's left open to interpretation what exactly Bubble is to Caine. He's seen being 'created' after Caine devours the other Ai, ie just after the war of dominance between the two Ai's is settled. So while it's up to interpretation it's heavily implied that Bubble is Blue Ai's last ditch effort at life

Poking my head back in here (sorry 😅) I think the .lisp file extension indicates that both Caine and Bubble are (separate?) Ai with unique branching networks in the code, w/basically similar referential structures to something like early neural networks. I'm NOT a programmer so -grain of salt.

Thinking on this, I like this scene in the context of how Moon loving Caine unconditionally contrasts w/how Bubble berates him...specifically because both are voiced by the creator. Idk, I thought it was an amusing parallel, tho, I guess it only works if you assume Bubble's in part Caine's creation

yeah, more episodes would be nice, but for what the show set out to do it managed to do it fairly well within the short runtime! But as fans, it's always easy to want more ^^;;
