With all that rambling out of the way though, was still a good watch! Glitch Productions really managed to make something great that resonated with a lot of people. I'm excited to see how Gameoverse comes along! :D

Bit of a shame that after all that, Jax and the other unfortunate souls remain as freaky nightmare creatures. At least he was right though..? Maybe in the future they all get brought back but personally I'd freak the fuck out if I found out I wasn't even real! Being trapped would be bad enough LOL

I'm glad that the people the characters were based on are actually doing fine, and that the characters in the circus made peace with it. Existing for the fun of it with knowledge of the reality of the situation brings to mind the revelations of the nature of the universe in No Man's Sky.

I thought the entire point was to escape the not-so-amazing digital circus??? The story was still worth telling, and the journey to the truth of it all was still engrossing and enjoyable, but I can't deny that finding out said truth threw me for a loop. Spent most of the credits sat like D:>

A bit disappointed by the revelation that they're all just brain scans/recreated versions of people who played a VR game or something. Sure no one (*real*) is in mortal peril or trapped in a simulation, but I spent the whole duration of the series thinking that was the entire point..!

Been grinding away at ranked and managed to hit Platinum for the first time in a while. I did manage to hit Diamond a couple times, but that was years ago before the big ranked rework that disincentivised simply surviving. I'll settle for Plat lol
