Curious how state committees are doing. I give to NCDP, but not the national party (because it sucks in a lot of ways). I think that there is something to people hating the DNC because it represents what’s wrong with the establishment party.

Sorry, but if the police are among the most trusted institutions in America, we have some pretty big problems with how we evaluate institutions as a society. But to your point, it is remarkable that given how terrible we seem to be at this, that universities rate as highly as they do.

Oof. This thread is painful because it is absolutely my own experience. It is not that I (or most men, I think) believe that women don’t desire men and don’t have sexual agency. It’s that I don’t think that I am desirable. It’s incredibly unhealthy. Not sure what to do about it.

Yeah, my understanding is that with the necessary containment, we would need to move thousands of tons of stuff. Plus the excavation to get to it would likely take weeks. This is not a snatch and grab.

I get what you are suggesting — that people like Bridge are basically idiots who really don’t have a view on how the world works. They are definitely idiots, which is why I allowed for the theoretical possibility that they are too dumb to have such a view.
