Also some of the said bad levels were overblown. I didn’t have that much trouble with either the rolling watermelon level or the sand bird.

It’s jank as fuck and some levels barely function… But it still controls amazingly and is honestly still pretty fun. Especially if you don’t care about 100% and can just ignore the bad levels. I liked it more than 64 tbh.

I beat Splatoon Raiders. Splatoon gameplay but with the same “one more run” hook that Monster Hunter has is a match made in heaven. This may actually be my GotY.

My nostalgia would bump the S1 campaign up a tier. But more objectively this is also how I’d rate them.

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a user score this high, goddamn. Deserved though, Splatoon Raiders is fantastic so far.

I’d be more hyped for that than a Splatoon 4 tbh
