A recent warehouse fire in West Virginia left nearby communities dealing with toxic smoke and hazardous residue even after the fire was put out. Thanks to supplies we had pre-positioned in Atlanta, a volunteer was able to drive masks and gloves up to support the clean-up response.

So far this year, over 41,000 wildfires have burned more than 3.9 million acres across the US (NIFC), with a severe fire season forecast over the coming summer months.
