…you know, that thing I said about “Hope” and angst might not work on Joceline. She’s just woken up from her soul nap and is already exhausted, so she’d probably have one of those times where she just shrugs and drinks and waits for the job to be over while others discuss how sad things are.

For those craving angst in EC, here’s a thought: I’ve seen several people pointing out that the small Miqo’te in the trailer reminds them of Hope from FFXIII. Remember Hope’s family situation? What if, like Snow, WoL got blamed for something similar?

I like to pet random minions, and that’s influenced how my WoL acts; if Joceline isn’t stopping to give out a single pet that day, she’s either depressed as hell or possessed as hell.

Joceline’s whole family were sellswords. As the youngest of five, she trained with the others, but started off with support tasks like keeping track of supplies and killing rats in the cellar. Then she graduated to hunting and fighting with her parents and sisters.

Joceline was panicking. She just wanted to escape the flying planets, but right before everyone else went to (relative) safety, the thing that would‘ve sent her back slipped out of her hands. She started with “we can’t fight like this!” and ended with a hoarse “fuck, butterfingers, fuck!”

#wolqotd Alisaie often has much more to say than the WoL does. Have there been times where she said almost exactly what your WoL/OC was thinking? Have there been times when the two had completely different opinions on something?
