We believe in choice at the end of life. Including the option of assisted dying for terminally ill, mentally competent adults.

Lauren Edwards MP on the PM's remarks yesterday: "we can tackle all the changes that are needed...this can happen alongside providing the choice of an assisted death to that small minority for whom even the very best palliative care cannot relieve their suffering."

In 2019 James said goodbye to his mum, who travelled alone for an assisted death abroad. He wasn't allowed to go with her.  She was terminally ill and in agonising pain.  This is not the mark of a compassionate society. MPs must listen to people like James - and back the assisted dying bill.
